Looks like Kazul racing days are over. He has 2 bad disks in his back, diagnosed in the spring by Dr. John Sherman of Vethab
in Raleigh NC. Kazul received a course of medications and then therapy at Vethab until the tragic death of Dr. Sherman. His
death was a terrible shock to everyone, his loss will be felt by many in the sport dog community as well as those who knew
him. He was an amazing diagnostician and a kind man. There are many dogs out there who owe their rehabilitation to his
abilities.
Meanwhile, Reba is progressing with her flyball training and been doing warm-ups in tournaments for some
time now. She even has 1 point! She tends to get spooked, for example when turning off the box if she sees the box judge she
may drop the ball. She's getting closer all the time though, and is even passing one of our dogs without much problem.
She'll be back in the lanes later this month at the Coconut Classic!
